ASSOCIATE DEAN OF LIBRARIES FOR TECHNICAL AND AUTOMATED SERVICES
ADELPHI UNIVERSITY
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides leadership for Acquisitions, Cataloging, Serials, Interlibrary Loan/Document Delivery, and Systems operations. Participates in maintenance of the Libraries’ Innovative Interfaces library management system.
Contributes to the planning and implementation of digital initiatives.
As a member of the Libraries’ senior administrative team, participates in a wide range of administrative activities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
ALA-accredited MLS required; a second post-baccalaureate degree is preferred.
Significant supervisory experience and experience in library technical services and automation is required. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work in a collegial environment.
