The University of Baltimore Law Library seeks a serials management librarian. The position reports to the Assistant Director for Technical Services and supervises two full time Library Technicians. Duties will include coordinating the ordering, renewal, receipt, payment, check-in, claiming, bibliographic maintenance, weeding, and binding of serials of all formats, including GPO materials. The position is highly collaborative and interacts with other library staff to ensure public access, resolve complex problems, train staff, monitor and evaluate vendor performance, and perform special projects.

The Welch Medical Library at the Johns Hopkins University, School of Medicine is seeking a Electronic Resources Librarian responsible for coordinating the selection, organization and presentation of new or updated packages of electronic databases, e-journals or e-textbooks. The librarian will monitor and evaluate usage and easy access to electronic resources and will educate patrons about limitations of licenses. The librarian will create, monitor and evaluate technical problem reporting procedures and follow up with patrons. This person will train staff, act as department liaison with other departments, faculty and other JHU libraries to ensure quality access. The Librarian ensures consistent and integrated access to licensed electronic resources in a technology-intensive learning environment. Takes a lead role in coordinating the library-wide selection, maintenance, access, and licensing of electronic resources purchased or licensed.
