Authorizing invoices for payment for all serials and resolves any problems, questions or discrepancies; Processing claims for all orders, monographic and serial, resolving any problems, questions or discrepancies with vendors and Acquisitions Ordering Specialist; Performing complex copy cataloging for serial bibliographic records including title changes, using the AACR2 rules and MARC standards including MARC21 Holdings data. Applies concepts of bibliographic control including description, seriality, successive entry, sources, levels of enumeration, chronology, etc; Maintaining accurate and reliable serial records correctly defining the serial holdings of the Washington State Library including predictive patterns, special notes, and public catalog display; Working with the Acquisitions Supervisor to plan and implement changes to serial procedures and technology.
