QUALIFICATIONS: Applicant must have an MLS from an ALA accredited program. Two years of original cataloging required. Knowledge of AACR2, LC classification and subject headings.  Familiarity with OCLC and database management. Good communication skills. Academic  background or experience with American history.  Interest in Freemasonry and fraternal groups.

DUTIES: Catalog books and serials using TLC database. Develop familiarity with library’s subject areas:  American history, Freemasonry, and other fraternal groups. Reference desk duty every third Saturday.  Assist in directing part-time Library Assistant and at least 3 volunteers.  Participate in Collections Committee and Library Committee. Other duties as assigned.

SALARY:  20 hours/week. $17,000 to $20,000
